Junior Project Administrator

About the role

BSL Group Pty Ltd is looking for a motivated and organised Junior Project Administrator to join the team on a full-time basis and provide administrative support across commercial construction projects. Working closely with Project Management and Estimating teams, you will play an important role in keeping projects organised, compliant and running smoothly from an administrative perspective.

Key responsibilities

• Supporting Project Managers with the administration of multiple commercial construction projects
• Reviewing and processing daily dockets and employee sign-in/sign-out records
• Maintaining tool tracking and allocation registers
• Providing administrative support to the Estimating team
• Assisting with ordering project materials and monitoring deliveries
• Preparing and maintaining SWMS and project compliance documentation
• Raising Purchase Orders and Maintenance Orders through Management software
• Maintaining project records and document control
• Coordinating employee, subcontractor and visitor inductions
• Assisting with labour allocation for project budgeting and cost tracking

About you

• Previous experience in a construction administration role – essential
• Commercial construction experience – highly regarded
• An understanding of construction documentation and project administration
• Experience with procurement processes
• Experience with TradeTrak or similar construction/project management software – desirable
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• A Certificate III or IV in Business Administration, Construction Administration or a related field, along with a current driver's licence – essential
