The position

We are seeking experienced and adaptable Paramedics to join the Kimberley Ambulance Service. This is a unique FIFO opportunity to deliver frontline emergency care across some of Western Australia’s most remote communities. You will be based in Perth and deployed to the Kimberley region (Derby, Fitzroy Crossing, and Halls Creek), responding to 000 emergency calls and supporting hospital teams in the emergency department.

About the Role

• Respond to all 000 calls as part of a pre-hospital emergency response team

• Work closely alongside hospital doctors and nursing staff in the emergency department

• Follow established medical treatment plans when working in-hospital settings

• Attend callouts with a non-clinical local orderly/driver who provides strong community and area knowledge

• 12-hour shifts

• 3 weeks on, 3 weeks off roster

Pay & benefits

• Competitive hourly base rate

• Meal allowance provided per full operational day

• Travel day allowance provided for both mobilisation and demobilisation days

• Flights to and from a capital city of your choice within Australia

Requirements

• 3+ years relevant clinical registration and on-road experience in emergency or pre-hospital care

• Ability to work in remote, resource-limited environments

• Flexibility, resilience, and strong teamwork skills

• ALS1/ALS2 or willing to obtain

• WA Working With Childrens Check or willing to obtain

• Police Clearance (Within the last 12 months) or willing to obtain
