Barista | Kew

Noisette is looking for an experienced Barista / Café All-Rounder to join our small-format café team in Kew.

This location is a compact, pop-up style café rather than one of our larger retail cafés. It’s a hands-on environment where you’ll be customer-facing, making coffee, serving customers and keeping the café running smoothly.

At Noisette, we are passionate about quality food, artisan products and providing excellent customer service. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working independently, is confident during busy periods and takes pride in creating a great experience for every customer.

As a Barista / Café All-Rounder, you’ll play an important role in the day-to-day operation of our Kew café, delivering friendly and efficient service while keeping the space clean, organised and welcoming.

Responsibilities include:

• Greeting, serving customers, taking orders

• Preparing high-quality coffee, food and drinks

• Adjusting the grind and dialling in the grinder

• Opening and closing the coffee station

• Managing the coffee station independently during busy periods

• Maintaining a clean and organised café environment

• Assisting with general café operations as required

Our trading hours are 7:00am – 4:00pm Monday to Friday and 7:00am – 3:00pm on weekends.

Your weekly hours will vary, with regular 15–25 hours per week available.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience working as a Barista in a café or hospitality environment

• Has at least 1 year of coffee experience

• Is confident managing the morning and afternoon rush independently when required

• Has experience adjusting the grind and dialling in the grinder

• Has experience opening and closing a coffee station

• Is comfortable working in a small, fast-paced café environment

• Has strong customer service skills and enjoys interacting with customers

• Works efficiently and enjoys being part of a team

• Is reliable, motivated and willing to learn

• Is available to work weekends

• Has full working rights in Australia
