About the Opportunity
The Senior Program Manager Rural Research Education is responsible for managing the development, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and reporting of the Rural Research Capacity Building Program within HETI's Rural & Remote Portfolio. The role ensures program delivery aligns with the HETI Strategic Plan and Rural & Remote Portfolio Strategic and Operational Plans, meeting required deadlines, quality standards and budget expectations.
This role leads the planning and delivery of an annual program of rural research education for NSW Health staff across rural and remote NSW.
The successful candidate will coordinate educators and resources, oversee program implementation, monitor outcomes and milestones, and drive continuous improvement through ongoing quality and program evaluation activities. Working collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders, the Senior Program Manager will provide expert leadership to strengthen rural research capability and support the development of a skilled, research-active rural health workforce across NSW.
Provide timely, expert advice to the Director, Professional Practice and Interprofessional Collaboration, on all aspects of program and project development and delivery including regular reporting of the status of program/project delivery.
