About the Role

As Area Sales Manager (VIC/TAS), you will be responsible for driving sales performance, customer experience outcomes and operational excellence across an assigned portfolio of Mitsubishi Motors dealerships. Working closely with Dealer Principals, Sales Managers and dealership teams, you will build strong commercial partnerships, develop and implement performance improvement plans, monitor vehicle supply and inventory, and provide coaching, training and business support to maximise results.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager VIC/TAS, you will collaborate with stakeholders across Sales & Fleet, Aftersales, Finance and Network Development to deliver strategic initiatives, share market intelligence and ensure dealer network performance aligns with business objectives.

Core Responsibilities

• Drive sales, fleet and accessory performance across the VIC/TAS dealer network
• Build trusted partnerships with Dealer Principals, Sales Managers and dealership teams
• Lead dealer reviews, set performance targets and execute improvement plans
• Optimise vehicle supply, stock mix and inventory outcomes across the region
• Share market insights and competitor intelligence to support business strategy

Essential Skills and Experience

• Experience in automotive, dealer network, field sales or account management environments
• Proven success driving sales growth, achieving performance targets and delivering commercial outcomes
• Experience building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships across dealers, customers and business partners
• Experience analysing sales, customer and market data to identify opportunities and improve business performance
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate, influence and achieve outcomes
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a customer-focused approach
• Strong planning, organisation and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
