About the role
Full Throttle Group is seeking an organised, reliable and experienced Bookkeeper / Administration Assistant to join our team.
This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys working with numbers, keeping things organised and providing practical administrative support to a busy business.
You will be responsible for a combination of bookkeeping, accounts and general administration duties, helping ensure the day-to-day financial and administrative functions of the business run smoothly.
Key responsibilities will include:
Accounts payable and accounts receivable
Bank and credit card reconciliations
Processing and coding transactions
Raising and processing invoices
Following up outstanding accounts
Payroll processing and payroll administration
Superannuation processing
Maintaining accurate financial records
Data entry and record keeping
Managing emails and general correspondence
Maintaining electronic and manual filing systems and business records
Assisting with supplier and customer enquiries
General office and administrative support
Other bookkeeping and administration duties as required
We are looking for someone who is dependable, organised and takes pride in producing accurate work.
The successful applicant will ideally have:
Previous bookkeeping, accounts or administration experience
Experience with Xero accounting software
Experience with accounts payable and receivable
Payroll experience is a must
Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Outlook
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
The ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
Good written and verbal communication skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
A high level of discretion when handling confidential information
A proactive attitude and willingness to assist wherever required
Knowledge of Australian payroll, superannuation, GST and general bookkeeping requirements is required for this role.
