Café All-Rounder / Barista – Tumbles Playhouse (Williamstown North)

Position: Casual / Part-time
Hours: Weekdays, Weekends & School Holidays (flexible roster)

Tumbles Playhouse is a busy indoor play centre and café. We are looking for a friendly, reliable and energetic experienced Café All-Rounder / Barista to join our team, including basic food preparation duties.

About the Role

This role combines café work with general playcentre support. You will be part of a small, supportive team helping create a fun and welcoming experience for families visiting our venue.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality barista-style coffee and hot/cold drinks
• Take customer orders and operate the POS (cash & EFTPOS)
• Prepare and serve light meals, snacks and café items
• Maintain cleanliness of café, kitchen and seating areas
• Clear tables, wash dishes and assist with general cleaning
• Support busy weekend service and birthday party sessions
• Provide friendly and professional customer service to families and children
• Help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming playcentre environment

What We’re Looking For

• Previous barista / café experience is required
• Previous kitchen experience is required.
• Ability to make consistent, high-quality coffee in a busy environment
• Friendly, positive and reliable personality
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently during busy periods
• Team player who is happy to help wherever needed
• Weekend availability is essential
• Availability during school holidays is highly valued
