About the role

Based at Vales Point Power Station, you’ll help maintain a clean, safe and efficient working environment across the site.

Typical hours currently available are:

6:00am – 2:00pm across various days.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Industrial cleaning of conveyors, feeders, bunkers, basements and surrounding plant areas
• Cleaning administration buildings, offices, crib rooms, amenities and bathhouses as required
• Operating safely in accordance with workplace procedures
• Working independently while also supporting your team when needed
• Maintaining high housekeeping standards across the site

No two days are exactly the same, making this a great role for someone who enjoys being active and working in a hands-on environment.

About you

You’ll be successful if you:

• Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Take pride in delivering quality work
• Are reliable, punctual and safety-focused
• Enjoy physical, hands-on work
• Can work independently and as part of a team
• Hold a current driver’s licence and have reliable transport
• Have good communication skills

Previous cleaning or labouring experience is an advantage, however full training is provided, so we’d also encourage applicants looking for a new career opportunity to apply.

You’ll also need to:

• Provide two recent work-related references
• Successfully complete a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing (ongoing testing forms part of our safety commitment)
