Permanent Machinery Operator/ Farm Hand position available

Kalahari Farms Pty Ltd are seeking applications for a Machinery Operator/ Farm hand to join our team on a permanent basis. We are looking for a highly motivated, reliable individual with a good work ethic.

Kalahari Farms is a family run farming enterprise located at Mareeba and Mutchilba, Far North Queensland. It is a diverse farming enterprise with a range of farming industries with mainly horticulture and poultry.

Remuneration

• The position is full time.

• Remuneration includes accommodation and a work vehicle.

Requirements

• Full working rights in Australia is essential.

• Successful applicant will be required to do a wide range of roles and responsibilities due to the diverse and developing nature of the enterprise.

• The role involves all general farm work.

• The successful applicant will have experience in (but not limited to) the following:

• Tractor and loader driving / use of farm implements / be mechanically minded.

• Watering and Irrigation systems

• Knowledge of horticultural crops would also be an advantage.
