Emergency Response Trainer / Fire Fighting Trainer

Saferight is seeking an experienced Emergency Response Trainer/ Fire Fighting Trainer or Medical Emergency Service Officers (MESOS) or Emergency Service Officers (ESOS) to join our training team.

This role is suited to someone with practical emergency response and firefighting experience who is confident delivering engaging, industry-relevant training to students and workers across a range of workplace environments.

We can customize schedules to accommodate candidates that are actively in FIFO roles.

About the Role

You will be responsible for delivering and assessing emergency response and firefighting training programs, ensuring students receive high-quality, practical, and compliant training.

Key duties will include:

• Delivering emergency response and fire fighting training courses

• Conducting practical demonstrations and assessments

• Ensuring training is delivered in accordance with course requirements and safety standards

• Maintaining accurate student records and assessment documentation

• Supporting students throughout the training and assessment process

• Assisting with training equipment preparation and general course readiness

• Conduct RPL

Essential Requirements

Applicants must hold:

• Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue (RII30719)

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 or TAE40122

• Relevant industry experience in emergency response, firefighting, rescue, or similar

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• A practical, safety-focused approach to training

• Ability to work with students from a range of backgrounds

Desirable

The following will be highly regarded:

• Previous experience delivering emergency response or firefighting training

• High Risk Work Licence and/or additional safety-related qualifications

• Experience within mining, construction, oil and gas, maritime, or industrial environments

• Current First Aid qualification
