About the role
About the role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Wall and Floor Tiler to join our team in Canberra. This is a full-time position working 38 hours per week, delivering high-quality tiling services across residential projects.
Key responsibilities
Measure and mark surfaces to determine tile layout
Prepare wall and floor surfaces (cleaning, levelling, repairing)
Cut tiles using hand tools, tile cutters, wet saws and grinders
Mix and apply adhesives, mortar and cement
Lay and set tiles ensuring correct alignment, spacing and finish
Apply grout and clean finished surfaces
Install waterproofing membranes in wet areas
Remove old tiles and perform repair work as required
About you
Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling
Mandatory training in Silica Awareness, Asbestos and a White Card
Minimum 2 years' experience in tiling
Strong knowledge of Australian Standards for tiling and waterproofing
Ability to read and interpret plans
High attention to detail and quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Current driver's licence
