St Hilda's School is seeking a dedicated and experienced OSHC Coordinator to lead our Outside School Hours Care service and vacation care program. This is a wonderful opportunity for an early childhood professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality, play-based programs within a supportive, faith-based school community.

This role is 5 days per week, Monday to Friday - 30hrs/week (Term Time), 38hrs/week (School Holidays) on site.

You will bring sound knowledge of the National Regulations and National Quality Standards, together with demonstrated experience in a coordination, leadership, or senior educator role within an education and care service. About the Position

Reporting to the Director of Pre-Preparatory (Nominated Supervisor), the OSHC Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the Service remains compliant with all governing legislation and regulation at all times. The role provides administrative oversight, resourcing, and pedagogical leadership for the delivery of curriculum in OSHC, and acts as an ambassador for the Service within the broader school community.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of a high-quality program in line with the My Time, Our Place Curriculum Framework, drawing inspiration from the Principles of Reggio Emilia
• Contribute to the Service's Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and oversee related administrative functions
• Prepare resources and environments in collaboration with OSHC educators
• Contribute to and support the Service's Child Safe Action Plan
• Oversee the supervision, safety, and wellbeing of children and educators attending OSHC
• Foster positive and supportive relationships with families, both current and prospective 
• Oversee OSHC educator human resource matters 
• Oversee implementation of food safety and food handling requirements
• Administer medication in accordance with policy
• Oversee student placements to ensure regulatory compliance
• Uphold Workplace Health and Safety standards at all times.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Current, or actively studying towards, a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or above (or an equivalent NQF-approved qualification), or a Queensland-approved qualification for working with children over pre-school age
• Working with Children Check (Paid Blue Card), or eligibility to obtain one prior to appointment
• Current CPR/First Aid qualification (or willingness to obtain), including Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
• Minimum intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Completion of Mandatory Child Safety Training
