Cleaning Supervisor

About the role

Warm Souls Cleaning is expanding rapidly across Brisbane and surrounding suburbs, and we’re seeking a Cleaning Supervisor who brings structure, accountability, and pride to every job. You’ll oversee daily cleaning operations, guide and motivate staff, maintain service quality, and ensure clients receive consistently professional results. Working closely with the Director and Operations Lead, you’ll play a key role in shaping Warm Soles Cleaning’s next phase of growth, including new commercial contracts and an expanding residential service model.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of cleaning staff across assigned sites, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standards

• Conduct regular site inspections to verify that cleaning protocols are being followed and quality standards are maintained

• Allocate work assignments and manage team schedules to optimise productivity and coverage across multiple locations

• Train and mentor cleaning staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and company policies

• Respond promptly to client concerns and complaints, implementing corrective actions as needed

• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, coordinating with management on replenishment requirements

• Maintain accurate records of work completed, staff attendance, and incident reports

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and workplace policies at all times

• Communicate effectively with clients and management regarding service delivery and any operational issues

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies within cleaning operations
  

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in cleaning services, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role

• Proven track record of managing cleaning teams and achieving high quality standards consistently

• Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, equipment, and health and safety requirements in the cleaning industry

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and engage team members

• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and capability to make decisions independently

• Reliable, organised and detail-oriented with strong time management skills

• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and potentially weekends depending on operational requirements

• Current driver's licence and willingness to travel between multiple sites

• Physical capability to perform cleaning tasks when required and to assist team members

• Familiarity with cleaning management software or scheduling systems is advantageous

• Relevant certifications or training in cleaning supervision, occupational health and safety, or related qualifications are highly desirable
