Role 1: Experienced Geotechnical Engineer

Step into a role where your technical expertise directly shapes construction outcomes. You'll deliver and certify geotechnical reports, run advanced analyses, and mentor the next generation of investigators - all while building towards technical leadership.

What You'll Do

Review, certify, and sign off Lot/Site Classification reports (AS1726, AS2870, AS2159, NSW & QLD standards)Lead bulk earthworks investigations and designs from brief to final reportRun Plaxis 2D/3D analyses for embankments, slopes, and retaining structuresPrepare geotechnical reports, slope stability assessments, and earthworks specificationsConduct and oversee field investigations, soil/rock logging, and earthworks testingMentor junior engineers and Site InvestigatorsContribute to QA systems, reporting templates, and continuous improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For

4-8 years' geotechnical engineering experienceHands-on bulk earthworks design and reporting backgroundSolid Plaxis 2D/3D modelling skillsGeotester reporting experienceNER and RPEQ registeredWillingness to cross-train in Screw Pier foundation designBachelor's degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering (or related)CPEng accreditation highly regardedClear communicator who takes ownership and drives outcomes
