About the role
LJ Hooker South West Rocks is looking for a motivated, organised and professional Full-time Property Manager to join our team.
If you’re passionate about property, enjoy building strong relationships with landlords and tenants, and have excellent attention to detail, we’d love to hear from you.
The Role
As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of residential properties and providing a high level of service to both property owners and tenants.
Your responsibilities will include:
Screening prospective tenants and processing applications.
Preparing and managing lease agreements.
Managing tenant enquiries, disputes and tenancy matters professionally.
Conducting regular routine inspections and reporting back to property owners.
Organising repairs and maintenance promptly, ensuring properties remain safe, well-maintained and habitable.
Coordinating with tradespeople and contractors to arrange repairs and maintenance.
Managing maintenance budgets and approving works within authorised limits.
Processing property-related bills, including council rates and water.
Providing regular financial statements and updates to property owners.
Advertising vacant properties and conducting property inspections with prospective tenants.
Managing lease renewals, notices and tenancy terminations.
Overseeing end-of-lease procedures, including bond claims, cleaning and maintenance.
Preparing properties for new tenants and ensuring a smooth transition between tenancies.
Maintaining strong and professional relationships with landlords, tenants, contractors and suppliers.
About you
Certificate of Registration or Real Estate Licence, or willingness to obtain.
Experience desirable but not essential
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Computer knowledge essential
Current driver's licence
Professional, reliable and able to work independently
