Electrician

About the Role

Dash Group is seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to join our team on a full-time basis at our Lismore, NSW location. This position offers the opportunity to work within an established organisation that maintains a strong commitment to quality workmanship and professional excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of electrical, communication, and security solutions to clients across commercial and industrial sectors, ensuring adherence to safety standards and the timely completion of projects to specification.

Key Responsibilities

·         Install, test, and maintain electrical, communication and security systems and equipment within commercial and industrial environments

·         Interpret integrated system plans and technical specifications

·         Diagnose faults and undertake repairs in an efficient and safe manner

·         Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with relevant Australian standards and safety regulations

·         Undertake preventative maintenance of electrical, communication, and security systems

·         Conduct testing of electrical systems using appropriate tools and equipment to verify functionality

·         Liaise professionally with clients, supervisors, and colleagues on-site

·         Maintain accurate documentation of work completed and materials utilised

Selection Criteria

·         Current electrical licence or recognised trade qualification

·         Demonstrated experience as an Electrician within commercial and enterprise environments

·         Comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems, components, and safety procedures

·         Proficiency in interpreting electrical plans and technical specifications

·         Competency in the use of standard electrical tools and testing equipment

·         Sound working knowledge of applicable electrical codes and workplace health and safety regulations

·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail

·         Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team

·         Physical capacity to work at heights and in confined spaces

·         Demonstrated commitment to professional standards and workplace safety

·         Experience with Fire, Security or Communication Systems will be highly regarded
