Community Exercise Physiologist

South West Hospital and Health Service has an opportunity for an Exercise Physiologist to join the team based in Roma.

We encourage applications from early career professionals including candidates who are nearing the completion of their allied health qualification. Applicants will be considered based on their completed course outcomes and anticipated completion of their degree, with the requirement that all formal credentials will be finalised prior to commencement of employment.

Your opportunity

The exercise physiologist in the HOPE team is based in Roma and delivers a HHS-wide service, which requires regular outreach and telehealth/virtual care.

The exercise physiology services include the planning, prescription, implementation and evaluation of preventive health interventions across the lifespan in order to reduce chronic disease and potentially preventable hospitalisations.

This position requires overnight travel.
