About the role
The Senior Integrity and Compliance Advisor supports the delivery of Parks Victoria's integrity, compliance and assurance frameworks by providing specialist advice, coordination and analysis.
The role delivers business-as-usual compliance and investigation functions. This includes triaging and conducting integrity investigations, strengthening governance frameworks, procedures and guidance, and improving compliance registers, dashboards and reporting.
The role is also the business lead for key integrity uplift projects to reduce administrative effort, improve data quality and transparency, and strengthen Parks Victoria's integrity culture through greater awareness of ethical and accountable practices. Activities may include streamlining integrity declarations and reporting, introducing automation and the responsible use of AI where appropriate.
The role is critical to the success of Parks Victoria, as the organisation undergoes significant transformation, getting ‘back to basics' to improve its performance in ensuring Victoria's diverse network of parks and reserves remain accessible for all visitors to enjoy, while protecting natural and cultural values.
About the Team
The Integrity and Assurance team sits within Parks Victoria's Legal, Risk and Assurance directorate and works collaboratively across the organisation to strengthen integrity, capability and performance.
We provide specialist advice; user-friendly and fit-for-purpose policies, procedures and business systems; and hands-on support that act as guardrails for Parks Victoria to efficiently and effectively deliver on-ground services in compliance with whole-of-government and legal requirements.
