About the role
Conduct and translate midwifery research that strengthens evidence-informed care for women, babies, families and communities.
The Opportunity
We're looking for an Associate Fellow to support a joint venture between Western Sydney University and Western Sydney Local Health District, advancing midwifery research and practice. Working under the direction of the Clinical Chair in Midwifery, you will undertake research activities across the full research lifecycle and collaborate with academic, clinical and community partners.
You will coordinate literature reviews, participant recruitment, data collection and research documentation in accordance with approved ethics protocols and University requirements. You will maintain high-quality research data management practices, contribute to qualitative and quantitative analysis, and support the preparation of reports, conference presentations, practitioner resources and scholarly publications.
You will also build productive relationships with health service partners, government agencies and professional networks to support collaborative research initiatives. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to research grant development, support research capability building, and help translate research findings into practical outcomes that benefit women, babies, families and communities.
