Key competencies (role specific criteria)

You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following:

• Demonstrated working knowledge and skills in medical typing and computer programs relevant to duties.
• Demonstrated ability to work to professional standards without direct supervision and to organise and prioritise the administrative workload of a Group Co-ordinating Laboratory.
• Demonstrated high level of written and oral communication skills and a high level of interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
• A demonstrated commitment to the principles of quality management and continuous quality improvement.
• Knowledge of, or ability to acquire knowledge of, procedures policies and regulations which impact on the position, in particular the Queensland Health Code of Conduct, and a knowledge of contemporary human resource management issues such as work place health and safety, equal employment opportunity and anti-discrimination.
