Panelbeating/Spraypainting

About the role

DG Customs is seeking an experienced Panelbeater/Spraypainer to join our team on a full-time basis at our workshop in Glossodia NSW. This is a hands-on role that plays a crucial part in delivering high-quality vehicle restoration and customisation work. You will be responsible for performing panelbeating work, and applying professional spray finishes to meet our standards. This job entails a wide range of panelbeating and spraypainting work with a variety of full truck resprays, street car restorations as well as any industrial/civil machinery paintwork and maintenance.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Perform basic panelbeating work to restore vehicle panels to original specifications

• Prepare surfaces through sanding, filling and priming to ensure optimal spray application

• Mix and apply paint finishes using professional equipment and techniques

• Ensure colour and finish quality meet industry standards and customer expectations

• Collaborate with the team to meet project timelines and delivery schedules

• Maintain workshop equipment and tools in good working order

What we're looking for

• Knowledge and experience in panelbeating and spray painting within the industry

• Strong technical knowledge of panel repair techniques and restoration methods

• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality finishes

• Reliable transportation

• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently on projects

• Experience with custom automotive work, vehicle restoration, small and large truck resprays and restoration, machinery touch ups and resprays.
