Caravan Repairer

Adelaide Caravan Repairs is looking for a Caravan Repairer to join our busy workshop team.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys problem solving and has strong practical and mechanical skills. Previous caravan or RV experience would be highly regarded; however, we are also interested in hearing from people with experience in automotive, mechanical, auto electrical, fabrication or other relevant trades who are keen to move into the caravan and RV industry.

About the Role

The position involves servicing, diagnosing and repairing a wide variety of caravans and RVs. Depending on your experience, your duties may include:

• Caravan servicing and general repairs

• Fault finding and diagnosis

• 12V electrical diagnosis and repairs

• Water and plumbing system repairs

• Brakes, bearings, suspension and running gear

• Appliance removal, replacement and installation

• Accessory installation and upgrades

• Internal and external caravan repairs

• Sealant and water-ingress related repairs

• Pre-delivery and general workshop work

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Can diagnose problems rather than simply replace parts

• Takes pride in producing quality workmanship

• Is reliable, punctual and organised

• Can work independently as well as part of a team

• Has good communication skills

• Understands the importance of maintaining a clean and safe workshop

• Holds a current Australian driver's licence

Previous caravan or RV experience is an advantage, but not essential for the right person.

Experience as a mechanic, automotive technician, auto electrician, fitter, fabricator or in a similar hands-on trade would also be highly regarded.
