Assistant Supermarket Manager - Maffra (Gippsland Area)

Our Manager's pride themselves on the integral role that they play in the development of our team culture. In this role you can expect to work through a diverse range of responsibilities that include developing the management team, assisting customers, ordering and replenishing shelves and displays, rostering, maintaining a safe and hygienic work environment, KPI adherence, and team training and development.

The successful applicant will also need to have a good understanding of compliance areas such as HACCP and OH&S.  Key components of this role include wage budgets, sales budgets, and gross profit targets, as well as being able to work and mix with a diverse team of people within the supermarket and liquor environment as you take a leadership role in the supermarket team. Customer relations, cash office, register operation and operational procedures are important components of the position. 

Suitable applicants should have:
• Experience in a supermarket environment.
• Proven ability in managing inventory and merchandise.
• Experience in managing a team.
• A sound knowledge of supermarket best practice.

• Retail passion and experience.
• A customer focused approach.
