Childminder/ Creche Attendant - The Yard Gym Newstead

About the role

The Yard Gym Newstead is looking for a warm, friendly and reliable Childminder to join the team and look after members' children while they train. The creche is a welcoming space where parents can train knowing their children are being well cared for. This is a morning role for 9:30am sessions, Monday to Friday, with an immediate start, suited to someone who enjoys working with children and wants to keep their afternoons free.

Key responsibilities

• Supervising and engaging with members' children

• Creating a safe, calm and welcoming environment

• Building positive relationships with children and parents

• Keeping the creche clean, organised and safe

• Providing a warm and professional experience for members

• Working as part of the wider Yard Gym team

About you

• Warm, friendly and naturally good with children

• Reliable and punctual

• Responsible and attentive

• Professional and well presented

• Confident and comfortable caring for children independently

• Genuinely enjoys interacting with children

• Holds a current Blue Card — essential

• Has previous experience working with or caring for children

• Previous experience in childcare, childminding, babysitting, education or a similar role will be highly regarded
