The Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this newly created position has been established to strengthen the finance function as the business continues to expand.
You will play a key role in overseeing banking operations, funding activities, cash flow management and payment controls across the group. You will also provide guidance and support to two Accounts Associates while ensuring critical funding and settlement activities are managed accurately and efficiently.
  
Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily cash flow, liquidity and funding requirements
• Oversee loan settlements, drawdowns and funding activities
• Lead banking operations and payment processing
• Maintain robust financial controls and compliance standards
• Manage relationships with funding partners and key stakeholders
• Lead, mentor and support two Accounts Associates
• Drive process improvement and operational efficiency

  
About You
You are an experienced banking, lending or finance operations professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys taking ownership of critical business processes.
You will bring:

• 5+ years’ experience in banking, lending or financial services operations
• Strong cash flow and funding management skills, also reconciliation and financial control capabilities
• Experience with settlements and loan funding activities
• Knowledge of drawdowns, repayments and loan lifecycle processes
• Experience working in high-volume transaction environments
• Previous leadership, mentoring or team support experience
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach. A continuous improvement mindset
