Detailed Description

Our client manufactures & supplies Quality Drilling equipment to the Australian & International Drilling Industry. Their clients vary from large Multi-National Drilling & Mining companies to Local Family-owned Drilling Contractors.

Growth has resulted in new companies, new software, 50+ employees.

They currently require a Qualified CPA or Chartered Accountant with 5 or more years' experience in Commerce, preferably manufacturing or warehouse logistics, but not essential to:

• Advise the existing 1.5 Accounts Persons on correct account coding for meaningful reporting

• Do high level month end entries

• Improve the monthly reports for management decision making

• Liaise with external Accountant and key Financial Stakeholders

• Report to the Managing Director

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Accounting Software - Currently Account Right MYOB is used and the business is transitioning to ODOO.

Basic regular reports - are done at present, like Profit and loss, AP, AR, Payroll, Cashflow forecasting.

Assistance with typical Growing Pains - cost centres, profit centres.
