Applicants should submit a curriculum vitae plus: a statement of no more than 800 words addressing suitability for the role (with specific reference to media relationships and understanding of the subject matter), two writing samples personally drafted by the applicant (one media release or statement, and one speech or long-form piece), and the contact details of two referees. Shortlisted applicants will be required to complete a timed written exercise.
