Trade Assistants Accessory Fitters / Component Assembly

Our Company:

SGM Australia (Top Dek) are leaders in the design, manufacture & supply of aluminium and steel trays for Ute's and light trucks for both private and commercial use. Our primary business is the fabrication of flat trays to rigid vehicles, these are built on two parallel production lines in a well-resourced, Dandenong South facility. The trays we build are enhanced with value added accessories and custom industry components specified by our growing customer base.

About the Position:

We have immediate opportunities to join our team in our aluminium tray production assembly and installation areas. Whilst experience would be beneficial, if you are reliable and operate well in a team we will teach you.

Daily tasks and responsibilities in areas include:

• Aluminium and Steel Saw cutting

• Drilling/Fixing/Fitting

• Accessory fitting

• Component Assembly

• 12V Wiring

• Using hand tools

• Trade level hand tool experience is required

• General factory duties as required

• Assisting in other areas in busy times

Safety is a high priority and all applicants will be expected to follow OHS Guidelines and Company Policies and wear PPE where required.

Normal 38 hours of work are from Monday to Friday. Overtime may be available after these hours.
