About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Store Manager to lead our Michael Kors DFO Essendon store. This role is ideal for a confident, self‑motivated retail leader with a passion for luxury fashion, strong commercial acumen, and a proven clienteling background.
As Store Manager, you will take ownership of your business—driving sales, developing high‑performing teams, delivering elevated customer experiences, and ensuring operational and visual excellence across the store.
Key Responsibilities
Business Leadership: Execute key business strategies to drive sales growth and KPI performance
People Leadership: Recruit, lead, coach, and develop a motivated and high‑performing team
Client Development: Build strong and lasting relationships with our clients
Clienteling & CRM: Manage the customer database, activations, and in‑store events
Store Operations: Oversee stock management, visual merchandising, housekeeping, and daily operations
This is a full‑time position (38 hours per week) based at our Michael Kors DFO Essendon store.
About You
Minimum 3+ years’ experience in retail management (premium or luxury experience highly regarded)
Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and lead by example
Strong understanding of specialty retail, including sales strategy, visual merchandising, and operations
Confident using computer systems and retail technology
Excellent relationship‑building skills with a passion for creating long‑term client connections
