Casual Presser – Flexible Hours

Keirden Dry Cleaners is looking for a reliable, detail-focused Casual Presser to join our growing North Lakes team.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality work, enjoys practical hands-on tasks, and wants to be part of a supportive, winning team.

We are offering approximately 10–20 hours per week, with flexible daytime hours available. This may suit a parent looking for work between school drop-off and pick-up, or someone seeking a flexible role with the potential to grow.

For the right person, there is a genuine opportunity for this position to become permanent full-time as the business continues to grow.

About the role

Your main responsibility will be pressing and finishing garments to a high standard. You will also assist with general production tasks as needed.

Your duties may include:

• Pressing shirts, trousers, dresses, jackets, and other garments

• Inspecting finished items to ensure they meet our quality standards

• Sorting, preparing, and organising garments for pressing

• Assisting with general dry-cleaning production tasks

• Keeping your work area clean, safe, and organised

• Supporting the team to keep daily production moving efficiently

About you

We are looking for someone who is:

• Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in their work

• Comfortable with ironing and garment pressing

• Able to work carefully while maintaining a good pace

• Teachable, willing to learn, and able to follow proven processes

• Positive, hardworking, and a genuine team player

• Interested in being part of a growing local business

Previous dry-cleaning or commercial pressing experience would be highly regarded, but it is not essential. If you have solid ironing experience, a good eye for detail, and the willingness to learn, we can provide training.
