New Quarter — Richmond
Commune Group is on the hunt for a Restaurant Supervisor to join our fast-paced, high-energy team within the commune groups 7 restaurants.
We are proud to champion internal promotion, but we now find ourselves in the rare position of searching externally for an experienced hospitality legend ready to step up and make an impact.
We are a busy, dynamic restaurant driven by product knowledge, genuine service and a strong team culture.
We are looking for a natural leader who thrives on the floor — someone who can confidently run shifts, inspire teams and elevate guest experiences.
About the RoleYou will be responsible for supervising service periods, supporting management and ensuring smooth daily operations while maintaining our high standards of hospitality and product execution.
We’re looking for someone who has:Minimum 6 months experience running shifts in a busy restaurant environment
Strong communication and leadership skills
An infectiously positive attitude and strong floor presence
Exceptional service standards and product knowledge
A natural ability to connect with guests and motivate team members
A genuine passion for world-class hospitality
Experience with Deputy (timesheets / labour management)
Confidence in staff training and performance coaching
Strong cash handling and venue admin skills
Competency using basic spreadsheets and online communication platforms
Broad hospitality product knowledge — from cooking techniques to classic cocktails and Australian wine
