About the role
House Ipswich is seeking a dedicated and professional Inspections/Leasing Agent to join our team in Booval, Queensland. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our residential leasing and property management operations. As an Inspections/Leasing Agent, you will be responsible for conducting property inspections, managing tenant inquiries, and facilitating lease agreements. This role is essential to maintaining the high standards of service we provide to our landlords and tenants, and directly contributes to the success of our property management portfolio. You will be based in Booval QLD 4304.
What you'll be doing
Conducting thorough and professional property inspections, including routine inspections, bond inspections, and pre-lease inspections
Preparing detailed inspection reports with photographic evidence and identifying maintenance or repair issues
Showing properties to prospective tenants and providing information about lease terms, rental conditions, and property features
Processing lease applications, verifying tenant information, and liaising with landlords to obtain approvals
Coordinating move-in and move-out procedures, including key handovers and documentation
Building and maintaining positive relationships with landlords, tenants, and prospective renters
Attending to general administrative tasks related to leasing and inspections
Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, including residential tenancy laws and fair housing practices
What we're looking for
Previous experience in property inspections, leasing, or residential property management
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple properties and tasks simultaneously
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with landlords, tenants, and colleagues
Attention to detail, particularly in preparing accurate inspection reports and lease documentation
Proficiency in using property management software and computer systems
A valid driver's licence
Knowledge of Queensland residential tenancy legislation and fair housing practices
Professional appearance and demeanour, representing the company with integrity
Problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused approach to resolving issues
Flexibility to work occasional weekends or after-hours for property viewings and inspections
Real estate registration certificate
