The Role

The Operations Administrator role is responsible for the provision of maintenance planning administration and control services for the engine and engine components workshops.

The role also ensures compliance with all business and industry specific regulatory requirements and maintaining engine and engine components workshop records, manuals and the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.

You will also assist the Operations Manager to monitor the technical administration aspects of all work performed ensuring compliance with all relevant Aviation Regulations and Company requirements.

Your Day / Your Week

• Assist in producing work packages for component maintenance activities
• Assist in production scheduling and planning functions for the component’s workshops
• Generation and management of work package documentation
• Generation of customer quotes, invoice completed jobs and send to customer
• Assist in processing completed jobs for despatch
• Assist Operations Manager in customer communications
• Scanning of completed work packages to company ERP

About You

You have prior experience in a commercial or production administration role. You will have highly developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. You will be high proficient in the use of Excel and other ICT.

Demonstrated attention to detail with proven ability to use initiative and a results driven approach to deliver the outcomes of the Components department.

Skills | Qualifications | Experience

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an administrative role in maintenance production and planning.
• Experience using various enterprise digital solutions e.g. IFS, Microsoft, etc.
• Experience in an aerospace propulsion or component / MRO operations or similar environment, highly desirable.
• High level of skill and accuracy in data entry/management.
• Exceptional organisational, planning and scheduling skills.
• Ability to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and/or Aviation Security Identification Card
