Network Engineer- Telecommunications | FTTP

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join a telecommunications infrastructure team, working across the design, implementation and optimisation of access, edge and enterprise networks.

Key Responsibilities

Design and optimise telecommunications and enterprise networks.Provide Level 3/4 support and troubleshoot complex network issues.Work across FTTP, GPON/xPON, fibre and fixed access networks.Integrate and test new network equipment and technologies.Work closely with internal teams, vendors and delivery partners.Maintain network standards, documentation and configurations.Participate in an on-call roster and occasional site visits.

About You

5+ years' telecommunications Network Engineering experience.Strong knowledge of FTTP, GPON/xPON and fixed access networks.Experience with MPLS, Layer 2, BGP, OSPF and TCP/IP.Strong troubleshooting and network diagnosis skills.Experience with Nokia, Cisco, Juniper or Fortinet is highly regarded.CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA/JNCP or relevant degree is desirable.
