AP Investigations Officer

Heidelberg Materials Australia are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic & customer focused Accounts Payable Investigation Officer to join our National Accounts Payable team working out of the Shared Services Centre in Parramatta, NSW.

This is a full-time position, working 38 hours per week Monday to Friday supporting the Australian Shared Services Centre (SSC) – Accounts Payable team by ensuring governance on Regional Suppliers.

In Your New Role, You Will Be

Handling and resolving suppliers’ queriesSupporting Compliance to Policies, procedures for Accounts Payable processesInforming and escalating any issues relating to purchase orders and suppliers’ invoice processesProcessing invoices with strict attention to accuracyWorking closely with Internal and External stakeholders & other teams to ensure open lines of communication are maintained and supplier requests are resolved in a timely mannerActioning business requests in accordance with company policy and guidelines and following up with sites to ensure invoices are completed accurately and timelyEnsuring governance, integrity, and completeness by following processes on problem invoices and price updatingMonitoring and liaise across the business to resolve parked/blocked invoicesPerforming suppliers’ statements reconciliations, follow-up missing invoices and balancesReviewing prepared Reconciliation monthly and action outstanding itemsUndertakes clearing SAP Staging Area processes to action incomplete data, remove duplicate and return to supplier incomplete invoices.Support the team as needed and be the back-up when required and attend to adhoc requests

This role is a great fit for you, if you have:

1-2 years’ experience in an Accounts Payable roleExperience in AP analysis preferredExperience with SAP preferredIntermediate Excel SkillsExceptional interpersonal & communication skillsStrong commitment & ability to meet strict deadlinesExceptional attention to detail with high efficiencyStrong problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude with a pro-active approach
