About the role
Geographe is seeking a proactive, highly driven Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) to lead and expand our footprint across key customers and mine sites throughout the Hunter Valley region.
In this role, you will act as the key relationship owner for assigned accounts, charged with deeply understanding our customers' fleets, maintenance strategies, and operational challenges. Working alongside Geographe’s technical, supply chain, and operational teams, you will turn real-world site issues into long-term high-value solutions for our customers.
Drive Revenue & Market Penetration: Grow revenue across existing and prospective accounts by increasing Geographe's presence across our three key segments: Replacement Parts, Enhanced Performance Solutions, and Specialised Tooling.
On-Site Customer Engagement: Maintain a strong on-site presence across mine sites in the Hunter Valley, conducting regular visits and building trusted relationships from site maintenance and engineering to procurement and senior management.
Pipeline & Account Strategy: Develop and execute structured account plans, manage opportunities through to conversion, and maintain disciplined CRM records (Salesforce/HubSpot) and revenue forecasts.
Cross-Functional Solution Delivery: Partner with internal technical, operational, and supply chain teams to resolve customer challenges, convey product value, and deliver reliable commercial outcomes
Proven Relationship Management: Demonstrated success in B2B account management, customer retention, and revenue growth through a structured, long-term approach.
Mining & Asset Knowledge: Experience or exposure to mining environments, mobile equipment, or fixed plant maintenance strategies.
Territory Ownership: Highly self-motivated with the initiative and discipline to plan and prioritize activity across a geographically dispersed region.
Stakeholder Influence: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across all operational and management levels.
Systems Proficiency: Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce or HubSpot), SAP, and Microsoft Office applications.
Commercial & Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication, group presentation, and relationship-building skills, with a background in customer-facing or leadership roles.
Autonomy & Technical Aptitude: Self-motivated and proactive with a strong drive to succeed independently, balanced by a commitment to learning Geographe's engineering solutions and collaborating with internal teams.
Systems Proficiency: Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce or HubSpot), SAP, and Microsoft Office tools.
Industry & Asset Knowledge (Desirable): Proven B2B sales experience, exposure to mining or heavy maintenance environments, and familiarity with Fixed Plant or Mobile Equipment Assets.
