About the Role

You will oversee the day-to-day operations of our Innisfail production facility, leading a dedicated team to ensure that production targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Working closely with other departments, you will help deliver operational excellence and continuous improvement across all areas. This hands-on leadership role requires a balance of technical expertise, organisational strength, and effective people management.

A company car and phone are included with the role, among other perks.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Lead and manage the production team to meet output, quality, and safety targets.

• Ensure the production facility remains fully operational, addressing any issues that could impact efficiency, quality, or safety.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

• Maintain compliance with company standards and health & safety regulations.

• Support staff development through coaching, training, and performance management.

• Collaborate with other departments to optimise processes and ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Requirements

• Strong mechanical or technical understanding, ideally in a manufacturing or engineering environment (roto moulding experience highly regarded).

• Strong leadership and people management skills.

• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.

• A proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on results and continuous improvement.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across teams.

• Leads by example and fosters a positive, high-performing team culture.

• Proven experience in a production or manufacturing management role highly regarded.
