About the Role - Art teacher
As an Art teacher at Clarendon, you will inspire students to develop creativity, confidence and visual literacy through engaging and evidence-based learning experiences. Working within a collaborative and high-performing environment, you will foster artistic expression, critical thinking and technical skill development while supporting students to achieve their potential and develop an appreciation for the visual arts. This is a part-time Art teaching allocation and the successful candidate will also be required to teach in a second subject area.
Knowledge, skill and qualification requirements:
Commitment to students' academic, social and emotional development.
Knowledge of curriculum design, lesson planning and evidence-based teaching practices.
Ability to analyse and use student data to inform teaching and improve learning outcomes.
Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues and families.
Capacity to work collaboratively within a high-performing team.
Demonstrated commitment to Child Safety.
Willingness to learn, be resilient and agile.
A valid Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration or ability to obtain.
