EXCAVATOR OPERATOR

Califam Constructions is a well-established Civil Construction Company with projects throughout greater Melbourne. We are currently looking for an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team. You will be working across civil and sewer infrastructure projects, operating excavators safely and efficiently in line with company procedures and WHS requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Safe operation of excavators (20T+) including trenching, lifting, backfilling and rock breaking

• Deep Trenching and Backfilling

• Daily pre-start checks and reporting of plant defects

• Compliance with all safety, environmental and quality systems

Skills & Experience

• White Card (required)

• Excavator Operator competency ticket (required)

• Experience in deep excavation, trenching and rock breaking

• Sewer subdivision experience preferred

• Strong safety awareness and ability to work as part of a team
