The Role:

Kempe are actively seeking Mechanical Tradespeople for our Mechanical Maintenance team, based at our clients Paper Mill at their Murarrie based Brisbane facility. In this role, the successful applicants will be responsible for the provision of mechanical services including scheduled and unscheduled installation, testing, maintenance, fault finding, quality equipment repairs of rollers, conveyors, various style of pumps, to our client.

 Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Australian recognized trade qualification Mechanical Fitting Trade (Fitter, Fitter/Turner)

• Solid understanding and awareness of HSE requirements, responsibilities and obligations

• Heavy Fixed plant installation / maintenance experience highly regarded

• Paper Mill, Paper / Pulp and Recycling Industry experience preferable

• EWP, WAH & Confined space certificates or willing to attain

• An ability to proactively work in a fast-paced environment

• Disciplined attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong organizational and team working skills

• Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment medical

• Current driver’s license
