Testing Technician

Enertis Applus+ is seeking Testing Technicians to join a renewable energy project in Queensland, north of Rockhampton. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in the renewable energy sector, with no previous industry experience required.
Following an on-site induction, you will be responsible for conducting visual inspections across the site, identifying, recording and reporting any defects or visible damage. This work will help ensure the quality and performance of the installation.
Project DetailsStart Date: ASAP, with a preferred commencement in early SeptemberDuration: 6-8 weeks, with the possibility of extensionPoint of Hire: Queensland preferred, however applicants from other locations across Australia will be consideredTravel & Accommodation: Flights and camp accommodation providedRoster: 6 days per week for the duration of the projectHours: 10-hour days, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
Skills, Experience & QualificationsEssentialNo previous experience requiredCurrent White CardValid Driver's LicenceAbility to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screeningStrong attention to detail and ability to accurately identify and record defectsGood communication skillsAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamCommitment to safe work practices and completing project objectivesCustomer and client-focused attitude when required
DesirableApplicants currently based in Queensland are preferred, although interstate candidates will also be consideredExperience working on remote construction or project sitesUnderstanding of Australian health and safety requirementsCommitment to working in accordance with Enertis Applus+ safety and quality standards
