About the role

Flexpatio Australia is seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Consultant/Sales Assistant to join our team in Alexandria, NSW. This is a full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to develop your career in sales whilst supporting our sales team in delivering exceptional service to our clients. As a Sales Consultant/Sales Assistant, you will play a vital role in driving sales activities, managing customer relationships, and contributing to the growth of our business. This role is based in our Alexandria office and offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What you'll be doing

• Supporting the sales team in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities

• Assisting in the preparation of sales proposals, quotations, and presentations for potential clients

• Managing customer enquiries and providing product information to prospective clients

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer records and sales data within our CRM system

• Coordinating scheduling and logistics for sales meetings, demonstrations, and site visits

• Take full responsibility of showroom: customers visits and daily general maintenance and presentations

• Liaising between clients and internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and delivery

• Supporting administrative tasks related to sales operations and customer relationship management

• Contributing to sales targets through active engagement in lead generation and follow-up activities

• Gathering market feedback and competitor information to support the sales strategy

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in a sales support, sales consultant, or similar customer-facing role

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal stakeholders

• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM software

• A proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and develop new skills

• Numeracy skills and the ability to handle financial information accurately

• High level of attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accuracy in all work

• Enthusiasm for sales and a genuine interest in understanding customer needs

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

• Preferred: Experience in the outdoor living, home improvement, or construction industry
