We are looking for an experienced Building Maintenance Technician to join our growing team servicing commercial buildings across Melbourne and surrounding areas.

You’ll work across a varied range of planned and reactive maintenance tasks, with opportunities for static site allocation where you can build strong relationships with clients while becoming a trusted maintenance partner at a dedicated location. This is a role where you’ll have the autonomy to manage your own jobs, supported by a national team with established systems and processes.

• Carry out planned and reactive building maintenance across commercial client sites

• Complete general building repairs, upkeep and preventative maintenance tasks

• Maintain building exteriors, grounds and associated facilities as required

• Identify and report repair requirements and potential issues

• Coordinate and oversee trade works where required

• Complete assigned and emergency maintenance tasks efficiently

• Provide professional customer service and maintain strong client relationships

• Follow WHSE requirements, including safe work method statements and hazard controls

• Complete required administration, reporting and job documentation

• Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent qualification and/or relevant trade experience

• Experience in a similar building maintenance or facilities services role

• Strong customer service skills and experience working directly with clients

• Ability to work independently while contributing positively within a team

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Experience with quoting and managing maintenance jobs

• Ability to coordinate tradespeople and complete works efficiently

• Good understanding of general grounds and building maintenance

• Valid Australian Driver’s Licence

• Construction Induction Card (White Card)

• Working with Children Check

• Experience within commercial facilities maintenance

• Additional trade qualifications or maintenance experience

• Experience working on static sites or dedicated client facilities

• Strong knowledge of compliance and workplace safety requirements
