This growing accounting and advisory firm is seeking an experienced Business Services Manager to join its leadership team on the Gold Coast. The practice works closely with privately owned businesses, investors and high-net-worth clients across a broad range of industries, delivering taxation, compliance and strategic business advice. 

Reporting directly to the Directors, you will play a key role in overseeing client engagements, mentoring staff and identifying opportunities to add value to client businesses. This position offers a high level of client interaction, leadership responsibility and exposure to a wide variety of complex accounting and taxation matters. 

The Role 

• Manage a portfolio of business and private clients 

• Review financial statements, income tax returns and activity statements 

• Lead and mentor accountants across the team 

• Conduct tax planning and advisory engagements 

• Liaise directly with clients, the ATO and external stakeholders 

• Identify business improvement and tax planning opportunities 

• Support workflow management and quality control processes 

• Collaborate with Directors on client strategy and practice growth initiatives 

About You 

• 8+ years' experience within a public practice accounting firm 

• CA, CPA or IPA qualified 

• Strong technical knowledge across Business Services and Taxation 

• Experience reviewing compliance work and managing staff 

• Excellent communication and client relationship skills 

• Proactive, commercially minded and solutions-focused 

• Experience with cloud-based accounting and practice management systems
