Tyrepower Bathurst is looking for a qualified Motor Mechanic to join our growing team. You’ll work alongside an experienced Workshop Foreman, carrying out vehicle servicing, registration inspections, and light diagnostic work on a wide variety of passenger and 4WD vehicles.

What’s on offer

• Salary of $80,000 – $90,000 (depending on experience)

• Per-registration inspection bonus on top of your salary

• Monday to Friday only – no weekends

Your responsibilities

• Perform scheduled servicing and repairs

• Conduct NSW Registration Inspections (Pink Slips)

• Carry out light diagnostic and fault-finding work

• Complete repairs efficiently and to a high standard

• Maintain accurate job documentation

• Work closely with the Foreman to ensure quality workmanship and customer satisfaction

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Essential requirements

• Qualified Motor Mechanic (Certificate III or equivalent)

• Current NSW Registration Inspection Examiner (AUVIS) licence

• Current unrestricted Australian Driver Licence

• All relevant NSW licences and certifications required to perform the role

• Strong diagnostic and servicing skills

• Excellent attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Positive attitude with pride in your workmanship

Desirable

• Experience working in a fast-paced workshop

• Air-conditioning licence (ARC)

• Wheel alignment experience

• Experience with electronic diagnostic equipment
