About the role
Tyrepower Bathurst | Bathurst, NSW
Join one of Bathurst’s leading automotive workshops.
Tyrepower Bathurst is looking for a qualified Motor Mechanic to join our growing team. You’ll work alongside an experienced Workshop Foreman, carrying out vehicle servicing, registration inspections, and light diagnostic work on a wide variety of passenger and 4WD vehicles.

What’s on offer
Salary of $80,000 – $90,000 (depending on experience)
Per-registration inspection bonus on top of your salary
Monday to Friday only – no weekends
Consistent, full-time hours

Your responsibilities
Perform scheduled servicing and repairs
Conduct NSW Registration Inspections (Pink Slips)
Carry out light diagnostic and fault-finding work
Complete repairs efficiently and to a high standard
Maintain accurate job documentation
Work closely with the Foreman to ensure quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Essential requirements
Qualified Motor Mechanic (Certificate III or equivalent)
Current NSW Registration Inspection Examiner (AUVIS) licence
Current unrestricted Australian Driver Licence
All relevant NSW licences and certifications required to perform the role
Strong diagnostic and servicing skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Positive attitude with pride in your workmanship
Desirable
Experience working in a fast-paced workshop
Air-conditioning licence (ARC)
Wheel alignment experience
Experience with electronic diagnostic equipment
