About the Role

We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic Parts Interpreter to join our team. In this fast-paced, customer-focused role, you’ll be responsible for:

• Assisting customers with parts inquiries – in person, via phone, and email

• Upselling and being confident in making sales

• Interpreting parts and components with accuracy

• Providing expert technical support and advice

• Processing quotes, sales orders, invoices, and payments

• Managing stock control and purchase orders

• Responsible for inventory control 

• Building strong relationships with customers and our national QTK branches in Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth

This is a full-time, permanent position (38 hours per week) reporting to the Group Parts Manager. You’ll be joining a friendly team that’s dedicated to supporting you every step of the way!

What We’re Looking For

We’re after someone who is customer-focused, confident in sales conversations, and ready to identify opportunities to support customers with the right parts solutions. Ideally, you are:

• Experienced – Previous Parts Interpreter experience preferred

• Mechanically minded – If you love working with parts and have strong computer skills, this role is for you!

• Customer-focused – Building relationships and delivering top-notch service comes naturally to you

• Sales-minded – You’re confident identifying opportunities to upsell parts, promote add-on products, and support customers with solutions that meet their needs

• Organised – You can manage competing priorities, stay on top of orders and inventory, and keep the parts process running smoothly

• Detail-Oriented – You can juggle multiple tasks and maintain accuracy under pressure

• A Team Player – You thrive in a collaborative and supportive environment

• A Strong Communicator – You can explain technical details clearly, both to experts and non-experts

Flexibility to work extra hours when needed is a plus!
