Cleaners Permanent Part-time

About the role

Menarock LIFE is seeking Cleaners to join our team on a permanent part-time basis. Based in Templestowe Lower VIC 3107, this role is essential to maintaining our high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our facility. As a Cleaner, you will play a vital role in creating a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our residents and staff, directly contributing to the quality of care and services we provide.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitisation tasks across residential and communal areas

• Clean and maintain bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms and common spaces to the highest standards

• Dust, vacuum, sweep and mop all designated areas in accordance with cleaning schedules

• Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately and safely

• Maintain cleaning equipment and report any maintenance issues promptly

• Follow health and safety protocols and use cleaning products correctly

• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient completion of tasks

• Respond to cleaning requests from residents and staff in a timely manner

• Report any concerns or incidents to management

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in cleaning or a similar housekeeping role is highly desirable

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Physical capability to perform cleaning tasks and lift equipment or supplies safely

• Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively

• Reliability and punctuality with a genuine commitment to the role

• A willingness to learn and adapt to our cleaning procedures and standards

• Basic communication skills and a professional, respectful attitude towards residents and colleagues
