About the role

We are seeking a Cafe All Rounder to join our team at our Carlingford NSW location as we look to expand operating hours. This is a casual position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, energetic takeaway business. You will work alongside our experienced team to help prepare food, maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness, and contribute to a positive team atmosphere. This role is essential to ensuring every customer receives the excellent service and food quality ChickenSalt is known for.

What you'll be doing

• Food preparation - including washing, peeling, chopping and portioning

• Cooking food - operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently

• Customer engagement - taking customer orders both in-person and on the phone

• Cleaning - maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the store, including regular cleaning of work surfaces, equipment and utensils

What we're looking for

• Previous experience working in a kitchen or fast-food environment (desirable but not essential)

• Strong teamwork and communication skills with a positive, collaborative attitude

• Flexibility on availability - in particular we are looking for people who can work multiple days including all day Saturday.

• A genuine interest in food preparation and a commitment to food safety and hygiene standards

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Reliability and punctuality, with flexibility to work casual shifts including peak times
