Early Childhood Teacher

We are expanding our team and are looking for a passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our Gladstone Park Centre, in a Permanent Part-Time capacity, working Monday to Friday. Immediate start available!

Key Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing high-quality, engaging educational programs that support each child's individual needs, interests and development

• Using the Inspira Kids curriculum and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) to plan and implement an engaging and interactive program based on the children's needs

• Documenting the delivery of educational programs, the children's interests and assessments of their learning and development 

• Building and maintaining harmonious relationships with children, families and team members

• Mentoring other teachers and educators as part of the leadership team

• Maintaining a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment for all children

• Contributing to a child-safe environment and ensuring all relevant standards, policies, procedures and regulatory requirements are met on a daily basis

About You

• Previous experience working as an Early Childhood Teacher or in a similar role

• Hold an approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification recognised by ACECQA

• Hold a current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration

• Hold a current First Aid Certificate (including CPR & Asthma Anaphylaxis Training)

• Hold a current Working with Children's Check

• Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Standards (NQS) and relevant Government regulations

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Passionate about creating a calm and positive learning environment for our children
