About the role
Working day: Tuesday to Thursday| 24 hours/week
Deliver patient-centred care by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating tailored oral health treatment plans for a diverse range of patients.
Promote better oral health through education, disease prevention, health promotion, informed consent and high-quality post-operative care for patients, families and carers.
Support complex patient care by recognising oral manifestations of systemic disease and working with oncology, transplant, cardiac, infectious disease, aged care and special needs patients.
Be part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, partnering with dentists, dental assistants, medical, nursing and allied health professionals to coordinate care and ensure appropriate referrals.
Make an impact beyond day-to-day clinical care by contributing to quality improvement, clinical audits, research, service development, education and student supervision while maintaining your professional development
About you
Registered Oral Health Therapist with current AHPRA registration and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
An excellent communicator who builds trusted relationships with patients, families and colleagues and communicates confidently across a multidisciplinary team.
A collaborative and ethical professional who can navigate complex situations with sound judgement, professionalism and respect for professional boundaries.
Highly organised and adaptable, with strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands in a busy clinical environment.
Committed to continuous growth and improvement, with a passion for professional development and applying quality improvement principles to enhance patient care and service outcomes.
